Water is a common drink for those in YH's Ancient Greece who want to quench their thirst without the side effects of wine or the sugar-rush of lemonade.
It is more than likely that the water Kora's Inn serves is from a well - wells are also seen at Cheiron's Academy, Alcmene's Home, and in Corinth. Cheiron's Academy also keeps large pots of water available in the gymnasium for the cadets to keep hydrated while working out.
